Jamie Roberts

Jamie Roberts has 25 years of experience in conservation and land management. For the past 6-years, he has been Chair of the Yorkshire Dales Rivers Trust, during which time the Trust has increased in size and trebled its turnover. Jamie’s work looks at some of the challenges and opportunities faced by the UK’s rivers, with a specific focus on plans to create a new wetland alongside the River Wharfe and the Tees-Swale project, which is seeking to tackle diffuse pollution caused by historic mining activity in the North Pennines.
