Within the built environment, critical discourse can tend to gravitate towards urban centres, leaving the rural context to be somewhat overshadowed, isolated and disconnected.
Based in Dartmoor, Devon, Terrain is established as a forum that aims to give rural architecture more agency in the 21st century. By collaborating with invited practitioners from across the country, delivered through a series of public seminars and events, we hope to cultivate discussion and exploration and reflect on themes surrounding architecture, design and landscape in a rural context.
If you have an idea for an event or would like to see Terrain Talks hosted in your region we invite you to get in touch.
