Al is the founder and director of Woodlab Studios, a timber workshop where woodwork and carpentry is taught and practiced within a building, which has been crafted from the wood found on the Dartington Estate. Woodlabs philosophy was born out of a firm desire to change the way we think about and use timber, blending eco-forestry principles with local craft expertise. Woodlabs mission is to make beautiful eco-forested products that lock carbon up for a lifetime.
